It worked, we're buddies now. The plant that you are thinking of may be Jojoba (pronounced ho HO ba). It was touted as being a good source of oil and could be raised here in the arid southwest on poor soil and with minimal water. I don't think that they were ever able to harvest the seeds mechanically, so it didn't really take off as a cheap fuel source. They do use the oil in cosmetics, I think. Have a good week, Warren :o)
